Fazli Yanik received her medical degree from Trakya University, Turkey and he was thoracic surgery research fellow in Thoracic Oncology at the same University Hospital between 2012-2015. Dr Yoruk and Dr Karamustafaoglu are the Clinical Area Coordinators of Thoracic Oncology at Department of Thoracic Oncolog in Edirne, Turkey. He deals with biomedical research and clinical studies (Phase I-II) in Thoracic Oncology. He is actively Works at Thoracic Surgery department of Trakya University as Assoc. Prof.Dr. since 2019. He is a member of ERS, EACTS and IASLC Societies and a founder of the Turkish Lung Cancer Community.

He has an interest in lung cancer surgery,Video-assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery,Mediastinal tumors,pleural tumors and mesothelioma. Her manuscripts have been published in such peer-reviewed journals as Journal of Thoracic Disease, Journal of Laparoendoscopic & Advanced Surgical Techniques, Journal of Clinical and Analytical Medicine, Asian Cardiovascular & Thoracic Annals, Indian Journal of Thoracic and Cardiothoracic Surgery.

Dr. Maher A. Abbas is an internationally known colorectal and gastrointestinal surgeon with 28 years of experience in medicine and surgery. To date he has conducted more than 18,000 operations and procedures. He is the recipient of 29 honor awards including America’s Top Surgeons, America’s most compassionate Doctors, Super Doctors of Southern California, and Los Angeles Magazine Top Doctors. He is professor of surgery and he is senior examiner of the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.

Dr. Abbas is on the editorial board of several scientific journals and is associate editor of the Diseases of Colon and Rectum, the official journal of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He has authored over 150 scientific publications and has delivered over 300 presentations in the USA and the world.

Ahmed Halim Ayoub has completed his Diploma and Master’s from Seville University, Spain. He is a Visiting Lecture at BPP University Faculty of Dentistry,London, England. He has developed expertise in bone augmentation and sinus elevation. He has a special interest in bone healing, role of growth factors and bone morphogenetic protein in bone growth. He is interested in dental implants education and has developed pioneer modules using live training throughout directingdental implants Post-graduate training in Egyptian Society of Oral Implantology, London Oral Restorative Academy and London Dental Education Service.

Antonio Cutrupi, is a Dean of Pediatric Online Public Society. He is a specialist in Pediatric Surgery with discussion of thesis on Diseases of Separation Sexual Development in Children, Ordinary Member of ESPU (European Society Pediatric Urology) and BAPES (British Association of Pediatric Endoscopic Surgeons and also a Member of IPEG (International Pediatric Endoscopic GROUP). He also acted as a Substitute Pediatrician in COMO ASL 3 and as a Consultant at the Clinic of San Carlo Paderno Dugnano (Milan) and also in General Hospital Zone, at the Department of Pediatrics and Urology. He is also an Executive Chief of Primary Level SSD Pediatric Urology with CLP Fixed Hospital Foundation Circle Macchi.

Dawn M. (Torrence) Ireland is the founder of CHERUBS – The Association of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Research, Awareness and Support. Created in 1995, after the birth of Ms. Ireland’s son, who was born with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH), she wished to create a supportive, collaborative community of families of researchers. It was built upon a foundation of research, awareness and support – providing as many services and as much information as the budget and volunteer system could withstand. With the encouragement of several prominent pediatric surgeons, CHERUBS began to have a presence at medical conferences in 1996. By 2000, the CDH Research Survey Database was created. In 2017, the charity was restructured. Ms. Ireland stepped away as President of CHERUBS and into the role of President of CDH International to further the research projects that the organization is involved in. CHERUBS still exists as the family support division of CDH International. Currently, Ms. Ireland oversees CDH International which now runs the world’s largest natural history database of CDH, has 3 boards, employees, many volunteers, assists over 6300 patient families in 70 countries, presents research abstracts, and works with both the NIH and the EU. Ms. Ireland also is a founding member of the Rare Advocacy Movement and senior level patient advocate, mentors several other non-profit organizations, is a founding member of the Alliance of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Organizations, has written/edited 4 books and spends her time between the United States and Europe to continue the organization’s growth and outreach.
